About
This practical IYT Bareboat program prepares sailors to skipper and manage a sailing yacht responsibly on coastal and offshore passages. It covers passage planning, safety procedures, navigation, weather, sail handling, collision regulations, anchoring, docking, and onboard leadership. Built around Wayfarer’s hands-on, stewardship-focused approach, the program helps sailors develop the judgement and technical confidence needed to operate a vessel, care for crew, and make sound decisions on the water.
